Kindergarten-Third Grade
Our Core Program runs Monday through Thursday and is designed for children ages 5–8. Blending strong academics with nature-based, play-rich learning, this program offers a well-rounded education in both indoor and outdoor settings.
Families can choose the days that work best for their schedule—whether part-time or full-time—and tuition is based on a $60/day rate. Small class sizes and mixed-age groupings allow each child to be seen, supported, and challenged at their own pace.
Children in our Core Program enjoy engaging academics, creative expression, and daily outdoor adventures that foster curiosity, resilience, and joy.

Forest Friday
🌲 Forest Friday (Ages 8–11 | Fridays, 9AM–3PM)
Think summer camp fun—year-round, in all weather! Forest Fun Day is a weekly adventure for kids ages 8–11, held every Friday from 9AM–3PM. It’s a day packed with exploration, teamwork, hands-on nature-based learning, and exciting activities that change with the seasons.From creek hikes to team challenges to creative outdoor projects, every Friday brings new opportunities for growth, friendship, and fun.
Tuition: $2,100 annually
This program is a perfect fit for homeschool families or anyone looking to add a dose of outdoor magic to their child’s week! -
Aftercare
🌅 Aftercare at HVFS (3PM–5:30PM | $7/hour
For families needing care after the school day ends, our one-of-a-kind aftercare program offers a peaceful, enriching way to wind down. Children can explore outdoors with friends, go on mini hikes, or enjoy quiet activities like reading, drawing, or nature crafts—all in a beautiful, nurturing setting.Flexible and family-friendly, aftercare is offered at $7/hour, and parents can choose the specific days that work best for their schedule. It’s the perfect way to extend the magic of the forest school day.
Aftercare is available as drop-in care for pre-registered families, offering flexibility to fit your weekly schedule.
