Outdoor Summer Camp for Ages 6–11 in Crozet, VA
Hidden Valley Forest School offers a nature-based, play-focused summer camp designed for children ages 6–11. Our small-group camp blends outdoor exploration, active play, and hands-on learning in a safe, engaging environment.
Program Details
Ages: 6–11
Hours: 9:00 AM–2:00 PM, Monday-Friday
Optional Extended Pickup: 3:00 PM ($10 per child/day)
Tuition: $250 per week
Group Size: Max 12 campers per week
Why Families Love Our Summer Camp
Our 2025 Summer Camp was completely full and welcomed 23 campers across four weeks. Campers spent their days hiking creeks, exploring the woods, playing active outdoor games, and building confidence through child-led, adventure-based experiences.

Licensing & Health Requirements
Hidden Valley Forest School is a licensed nature-based microschool in Crozet, VA. All required documentation—including a School Entrance Health Form completed by a physician—must be submitted before a child may attend. Forms are completed securely online through Brightwheel.
