It has only been in the last 150 years that humans have plucked children out of the natural world and into the artificial constraints of a classroom. Forest Schools believe that children are wired to learn best in nature, where all their senses are naturally ignited, with the loving guidance of a teacher who is equally excited to be in nature with them.
